Air India Red beat ONGC by 5 wickets,while Air India Blue also won by 5 wickets to set up a all Air India Final.AI(Red) played their semifinal against ONGC.ONGC,led by Gautam Gambhir who made 63,while Virat Kohli made 46 managed a mediocre 213,which never seemed enough for the talented AI(Red) batting lineup.They won with 10 overs to spare as Robin Uthappa made 45 and Sushant Marathe made 80* to guide them to victory.ONGC,inspite of having a very talented bowling line uo could not restrict the opposition.
Meanwhile,Tata Sports Club which played against Air India Blue in the semis managed 267,with contributions from skipper Agarkar who made 56 and NS Shetty,who made 63.Air India Blue,with the likes of MS Dhoni,M Kaif in their lineup,comfartably chased down the reduced target.5 overs of the match were lost due to floodlight problem at PCA Stadium in Mohali.The target was reduced to 246 in 45 overs.Opener Madan made a century,while Kaif made a 57 ball 56.
