Deccan Chargers out of Champions League

Hyderabad Deccan Chargers have been knocked out of the Champions League after their 3-run loss against Trinidad and Tobago.Dwayne Bravo did the trick for Trinidad and Tobago as he took 3/24 in his 4 overs. He bowled exceptionally and kept things tight.TT batted first making just 149 on a track which looked good for 170.Only two batsmen managed to get past 20 for TT.RP Singh bowled economically giving 22 in his 4 overs, though he didn't pick up a wicket.Fidel Edwards took 3/32.HDC lost their first wicket early as they VVS Laxman got out in the 2nd over.Adam Gilchrist looked in great form and continued to pile on the runs.Abhinav Kumar and Andrew Symonds got out early, leaving HDC at 30/3 in the 5th over.Adam Gilchrist made 51 off 36 balls before getting out.Rohit Sharma fell the very next ball, putting the pressure on two new batsmen Scott Styris and Venugopal Rao.With close to 65 needed in 8 overs with two batsmen who didn't have their eye in,the game had twisted on its head.Venugopal Rao hit two meaty sixes while making 30 off just 19 balls. However,he got no support from the others and after he fell,HDC fell 3 runs short of the mediocre target. The win ended their Champions League campaign and TT and Somerset qualified for the next round.
