Victoria virtually through to semis after beating RCB


Victorian Bushrangers beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets with Andrew McDonald playing a match winning role.RCB batted first,with Manish Pandey in full flow.He made 28-ball 39,while Rahul Dravid made a solid 33.Manish gave RCB a superb start,however,they kept losing to many wickets regularly.Rahul Dravid got out due to a horrendous decision.After losing Dravid,their was hardly any hope with RCB at 99/5 in the 16th over.RCB managed to reach 127.With a moderate target of 128,Victoria were the favourite for obvious reasons.Andrew McDonald,who played for Delhi Daredevils in the last IPL,bowled superbly taking 4/21 in his 4 overs.Clint Mckay bowled well for taking two wickets.RCB skipper Anil Kumble started the bowling with the new ball,however,was not successful and conceded runs at an ecoomy of over 10 runs per over.David Hussey smashed a 15-ball 31 with 3 sixes to take the Victorian Bushrangers home.RCB,must win their next game in order to have a chance of qualifying,while Victoria might easily make it to the semis.
