Duminy lights up tournament opener

Royal Challengers Bangalore went down against Cape Cobras by 5 wickets,as Jean-Paul Duminy with an outstanding knock of 99* off just 52 balls made chasing 181 look easy.Earlier in the day,Robin Uthappa and Ross Taylor took Bangalore to a challenging 180.Uthappa who started the slowly, made 51 off 39 balls.Rahul Dravid chipped in with 28.But the knock which changed the course of the innings was by Ross Taylor.Taylor, who came in late smashed 53* off just 24 balls. With some massive hits,he took RCB to 180,which seemed like a big total.
However,'Hurricane Duminy' hit the Bangalore boys.Hershelle Gibbs was out first ball, failing again.Duminy seems to be improving day after day, showing great signs of maturity. He played some neat hits as skipper Ail Kumble could hardly do much.
Praveen Kumar was the most impressive bowler taking 3 wickets in his four overs. He swung the ball both ways and troubled the Cape Cobra top order.
The win takes RCB into a must win position against Otago Volts in their next match. While,Cape Cobras look strong and pumped up with the win.
