Stuart Clark and Brett Lee were brilliant for New South Wales as they conceded only 111 against Somerset.Lee took 1 wicket for 15 runs in his 4 overs,while Clark took 3/15.No batsmen from Somerset made more than 23,leaving NSW a total that never was even competitive.In reply,David Warner started off exceptionally,hitting 40 off 16 balls with 2 sixes and 6 fours.NSW chased it down easily within the 12th over with 6 wickets to spare.Somerset have been knocked out o the League while NSW will be looking to win it,being among the strongest team in the competition.
In the other match,Trinidad and Tobago batted first making a massive 213,with Adrian Barath making 63 off just 41 balls.Lendl Simmons made 40 off 25 balls with 6 fours and 1 six.Navin Stewart came in late and smashed 33* off 11 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes.Diamond Eagles' bowlers were very expensive.Dillion du Preez who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last IPL gave away 54 in his 4 overs.In reply,Eagles started off strongly making more than 75 in the first 6 overs.Rilee Rossouw smashed 44 off 19 balls with 3 sixes and 5 fours.Boeta Dippenaar also made a quick 33.Kieron Pollard took 2/25 in his 3 overs.Eagles battled hard,however fell short by 24 runs managing 189.
