Delhi Daredevils lost by 8 wickets against Royal Challengers Bangalore,which closed any chance of their qualifying in the final 4.Royal Challengers Bangalore were playing for pride,however,a win for Delhi would have kept interested.Delhi batted first managing just 138.Virender Sehwag was only major contributor with a 29-ball 47,which including 6 fours.Many Delhi batsmen got starts,however no one really kicked on.RCB skipper Anil Kumble was very impressive taking 3 wickets at an economy of only 5.Dale Steyn was also effective.RCB chased down the target easily in 15.2 overs with 8 wickets in hand.Manish Pandey was disallowed a runner and hence was retired injured.Ross Taylor smashed a 38-ball 65 while Rahul Dravid made 32* off 24 balls.Virat Kohli came in late and smashed 24 off 10 balls with 5 fours.The loss closed all doors for the only IPL team with a chance to make it into the semis.
