India suffers due to its one dimensional bowling attack

South Africa should win this match from the position that they are in.India will have to bat extremely well in order to draw it from here on.Hashim Amla made 253* to take the tourists to a massive 558/6 decl.It was unfortunate to see Jacques Kallis miss out on a double century. It was surprising to know Kallis even after playing 136 tests hasn't managed to cross the 200 mark. Some people inspite of being great batsmen, are just not used to making it big.Virender Sehwag is probably one,who has among the best conversion rates.
AB de Villiers made a nicely compiled 50 as well. For India,Zaheer Khan was impressive throughout the first and second day. However,Amla and Kallis were just amazing and gave a superb base after the tourists had a shaky start.India's main worry was Harbhajan Singh not troubling the batsmen enough on the 1st day.Even though he got a few wickets today,he wasn't at his best.Amit Mishra troubled the batsmen once in a while, however,it wasn't good enough.India's bowling attack looked one dimensional like it does on so many occasions, except for the few days in the year when all bowlers are in good form together. Our dependency on Harbhajan Singh, after Anil Kumble's retirement hasn't worked off to well. Also, juggling between Pragyan Ojha and Amit Mishra seems to be putting to much pressure on both of them.I always felt that South Africa had a upper hand against India, espeacally with Rahul Dravid,VVS Laxman and Yuvraj Singh out of the series.Rohit Sharma also got injured in practice,so Wriddiman Saha got a place in the 11.I seriously do not understand how they pick a side. When 3 batsmen are ruled, they should be picking 3 spare ones, instead India dropped Dinesh Karthik to take another keeper without any international experience.Only MS Dhoni,Kris Srikanth and his team and understand the stupid selection policy.I also have to say, that VVS Laxman in a recent interview has rightly said about the lack of quality spinners in India.India surely doesn't have a good spin bench strength.Hopefully,India bats really well, and gets out of this hole.
