Its Advantage India after Day One

Hosts Bangladesh were bundled out for just 233 on the 1st day of the 2nd Test in Dhaka.Indian seamers bowled very well and put India in a very good position. Both Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma stuck early blows reducing Bangladesh to 4/2 in the 3rd over.Even though,India had some luck going their side,Bangladesh showed no determination or any sort of fight.Mohammed Ashraful was playing in T20 style even after they had lost two early wickets. He made 39 off just 31 balls. It was the lower middle order, which once again did most of the scoring.Skipper Shakib Al Hasan fought hard before getting out to Zaheer Khan's bowling on 34.Last match's centurian Mushfiqur Rahim also managed to score 30.However,23-year old Mahmudullah was the saviour of the team on this occasion. He batted with the tail and kept fighting on.He batted really well and remained unbeaten.Unfortunately, the youngster missed out on his maiden test century by just 4 runs as the tail enders failed to support him and he remained not out on 96.Zaheer Khan picked up 3 wickets, while Ishant Sharma seemed to be back in good form getting 4/66.Harbhajan Singh claimed a wicket while Pragyan Ojha claimed 2/49.I seriously fail to understand why Amit Mishra has been dropped. Not that I am anti-Ojha,but India seems to have a senseless rotation policy and players are sometimes rotated just when they seem to be getting back their groove.Mishra didn't put a foot wrong in Chittagong Test and rather he also scored a half century.Yet,he has been dropped out of this one.
Later,India had to play out 13 overs before the day ended.India, thanks to flamboyant Virender Sehwag scored at rate of over 5 runs an over.Sehwag was unbeaten on 41,while Gautam Gambhir was batting on 26 at the end of the day.
Day Two is expected to be the best time to bat on this wicket, and India with all 10 wickets in hand and a trail of just 165 runs are in the driver's seat. They will be looking to bat long and post a big lead to put pressure on Bangladesh.
